From Morocco to the Moon

My latest article on some unusual places for wine, for Newsweek is up. 

For all of my regular wine people, warning: Newsweek is for general readers. So while all of us might go, Thailand? Morocco? England? Canary Islands?  Ho hum. Most people might be tickled with surprise to find out.

I admit that Thailand was one I didn't know about. But there's even a winery in Tahiti now, so I guess I shouldn't be so surprised. I've tried (and enjoyed) a number of English wines, but am yet to try any wines from Morocco or the Canary Islands -- but I'm keen to do so some time!
