Wow! I'm shocked. I know the Times does not hire any freelancers who have taken press trips paid for by others. I'm sure glad that someone wrote to the managing editor at the Times to tell her that Ms. Feiring was going against their policy. At least now, she won't be published there anymore.
It's also interesting how years ago, Alice pronounced her last name as "Fairing" and now she's changed it to "Firing." Opportunist knocks.
