To those who want to know the names of the wineries I talked about on Monday afternoon with Ryan Brockington on Martha Stewart Radio, here they are:
NPA, (local California drinkers only). Salinia. Arnot-Roberts Coturri. Lioco. AmByth Estate. Ant Hill. Edmunds St. John. Brockway. Donkey & Goat. Dashe Cellars. Bebame. Cathy Corison. LaClarine Farm. Clos Saron.
Not easy to find, but try ordering from Chambers Street Wine in NYC, Calling the winery directly in California for help or delivery, or search wineaccess.com

Thanks! Truly enjoyed the show and your knowledge.

An amazing list Alice. My I suggest you seek out (if you haven't already) the wines from Porter Bass and Old World Winery. I suspect they may strike a cord with you. They are both wineries that helped me re-think what California wines can be.

Alice - these are some truly wonderful artisan producers. I am writing an iPhone app right now of organically grown wines for under $20 featuring several of these wineries - Dashe is one. NPA is another.
