It's over. At the beginning of it all I wondered if blogging for someone else is still blogging. I'm not sure it is. It is more essay. Which is fine because I love the form.
My editor, Mervyn Rothstein had a light touch and mostly preserved my style and my quirks, and this was more consideratiion than I expected and I appreciated it.
So, now that I'm not preoccupied with Sagrantino, I can come back home to this space that I have neglected. If anyone has any comments, it would be great if you left them on the Times site. And if that's too much bother, here will do fine as well.
